Wood Arts started with a table saw in our founder Brad’s dining room in 2002. Brad combined an education in art and design with his family heritage in woodworking. We don’t throw sawdust all over the house anymore but we’re still pretty scrappy.

Over the years, we’ve honed our skills as designers and artisans. We realized that solving problems is our greatest asset. Whether it’s coming up with unique solutions to our customers design issues or the engineering required to build some really crazy art objects and one off functional projects.

We also have learned that we really love doing the crazy stuff. We have so much fun figuring out how to recreate old parts like the door frame of a 1929 Studebaker. Or transforming a coffee table into a dining room table with a built-in lazy Susan. Or creating a knife case for a handcrafted Japanese chef’s knife.
